A POWERFUL PARTNERSHIP: FASHION MEETS POP CULTURE
The second edition of Fashion Forward presented a unique opportunity to bring together two creative worlds: Mexican fashion and the cultural legacy of Marvel Comics as it celebrated its 85th anniversary. Our challenge was to expand the event's reach beyond the fashion industry, positioning it as a cultural phenomenon capable of engaging diverse audiences across multiple sectors.
At the same time, we sought to spotlight the work of five pairs of Mexican female designers who reimagined Marvel's most iconic characters through a creative, feminine, and distinctly local perspective. The objective was not only to generate media attention around the event itself, but also to highlight fashion as a powerful expression of cultural identity.
A COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY WITH A DISTINCT IDENTITY
We developed a cross-platform narrative that connected the world of superheroes with fashion's power to inspire transformation through a contemporary female perspective. Based on this concept, we implemented a multi-vertical PR strategy targeting lifestyle, business, culture, and fashion media.
The campaign included exclusive interviews with participating designers and key spokespeople, customized editorial materials distributed ahead of the event, and a coordinated media agenda centered around the runway show, where each collection was unveiled.
Beyond promoting the event, we positioned Fashion Forward as a platform for creativity, inclusion, and artistic collaboration. The narrative emphasized innovation, female representation, and the reinterpretation of iconic characters through a uniquely Mexican lens.
A HEROIC IMPACT: MEXICAN FASHION WITH INTERNATIONAL RESONANCE
The event established itself as one of the year's most innovative collaborations between fashion and pop culture, generating 1,995 media placements across digital, print, and social media, with an estimated reach of more than 205 million people.
We coordinated exclusive designer interviews with key outlets including Nueva Mujer (Publimetro), ActitudFem, and Mujeres que Inspiran Mujeres (Excélsior), while corporate spokespeople from Marvel and Fashion Forward were featured in 24 Horas, Fast Company, and Milenio.
Coverage extended across Mexico's leading national media outlets—including El Universal, Reforma, Excélsior, and Milenio—positioning the event as both a creative and media success.
More than connecting with fashion audiences, Fashion Forward became a platform for conversations around identity, diversity, and pop culture through a distinctly Mexican and female perspective.
